Photo Contest Results Are In! And The Winners Are…

First Place – Wildlife Category

Mark Knott – We left Rattray’s Camp before dawn, intending to have our morning Amarula coffee while viewing the sunrise from the top of a kopje. Shortly after leaving camp we came across 2 of the dominant male lions of the area. Click here to see full gallery

First Place Wildlife Babies

Eric Gurwin – To be able to spend any amount of time with such small leopard cubs was something I’d always hoped to be able to do and that moment finally arrived. We were so fortunate! MalaMala, South Africa. Click here to see full gallery

First Place Scenery

Bill Harker – An iconic image on safari while in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park with clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro, framed by a lone bull elephant. Click here to see full gallery

First Place Clients on Safari

Stanley’s Camp resident female elephant ‘Marula’ greeting Graeme and Celia Nye the elephant way. The most lasting impression you’ll get – not to mention a running nose all over your hair. Click here to see full gallery

First Place People of Africa

Jeremy Hearne – One of the most fascinating adventures on the Namibia safari was visiting the Himba tribe. We spent over an hour with them and I was able to get this portrait of a teen girl at the village. Click here to see full gallery

First Place Birds

Terry Gray – A pair of my favorite African birds, lilac-breasted rollers, posed perfectly and patiently for their photo during a game drive in Sabi Sand during our stay at Kirkman’s Kamp. Click here to see full gallery
