Seba Camp

Vintage A lodge or tented camp with very good food and service, and many have swimming pools. The rooms/tents are of good size but perhaps not as large as "Classic" properties. Facilities could be "Classic," but located in a sub-standard game viewing area.

Seba Camp has been built on an island in the Okavango Delta with a large floodplain stretching in front. The camp's site was carefully chosen in an area where, during the dry season, the clay-enriched soils of the western plains of the Okavango attract large herds of herbivores, especially zebra and wildebeest. Water levels are high during the flood season (about four months of the year) when the camp offers amazing mokoro and boating activities.

The classic level Seba Camp offers eight elevated guest tents, each with an en suite bathroom with dual basins, toilet and shower as well as an outdoor shower for those who would like to bathe under the African Sky. The main area is raised off the ground and offers fantastic views over the floodplains. It consists of a bar, lounge and dining area (dinners will often be enjoyed out in the open on the floodplain in front of camp, as well as brunches in the bush). Game viewing activities will depend on each year's flood levels however generally you can expect to have a primary focus on land activities with a 50/50 combination of land and water activities in times of flood.
